  TECH - CHOOSE YOUR LEVEL

TEC 40

Consists of three knowledge development sections, three practical application sessions and four training dives.Designed for the diver transitioning from recreational diving to technical diving .

TEC 45

Part 2 of the PADI Tec Deep Diver Program .Extend your depth limit to 45m/145ft.Learn to plan &execute repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder .

TEC 50

Part 3 of the full Padi Tec Deep Diver program.Develop competency &have the skills to dive to a max of 50m/165ft.Learn how to extend&accelerate decompression stops using up to 2 gases.

TEC TRIMIX 65

If you’re into technical diving then you know that to extend your depth range you need to use trimix – a blend of helium, oxygen and nitrogen. The Tec Trimix 65 course introduces you to using trimix down to a maximum depth of 65 metres/210 feet. There are advantages to using three gases, but you need to know how to do it right. Earning the Tec Trimix 65 certification makes deeper exploration a reality.

TEC TRMIX DIVER

Ready for the outer edge of technical diving? The Tec Trimix Diver course takes experienced tec divers and turns them into extreme divers who go deeper and visit pristine sites where few others will ever go. During the course, you’ll make dives as deep as 90 metres/300 feet, but once you earn this tough certification, there are few limits. Your training teaches you to build experience gradually and you do it because you’ve made it this far and have more exploring to do.

TEC GAS BLENDER

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is the most popular diver specialty course and the number of technical divers is on the rise, which means that lots of scuba divers want enriched air and gas blends. The Tec Gas Blender course teaches you to blend enriched air nitrox and helium-blend gases using one or more blending methods. Being the blender is a key job at a busy PADI Dive Center or Resort and your work allows other divers to do what they love to do – scuba dive.

If you’re a PADI Enriched Air Diver and are at least 18 years old, you can enroll in a Tec Gas Blender course.

Note that qualifying certifications from other diver training organizations may apply – ask your Tec Gas Blender Instructor.

TEC 40 CCR

The future of deep tec diving belongs to the CCR (closed circuit rebreather) and the Tec 40 CCR course is where it all starts. If you’re interested in technical diving and want to dive a rebreather, the Tec 40 CCR course is your entry into the tec diving realm. This first level of training introduces you to Type T CCRs, which can be electronic CCRs (eCCRs) and manual CCRs (mCCRs). During the course, you focus on developing the discipline it takes to be a technical diver while learning the details of proper setup, predive checks, dive planning, failure and problem management and teamwork for CCR diving.

TEC 60 CCR

Tec 60 CCR Diver is the second level of technical diving training with Type T CCRs. By completing the Tec 60 CCR course, you extend your CCR diving adventures down to a maximum depth of 60 metres/200 feet. You learn to complete multiple decompression stops, manage life-support problems and dive with trimix/heliox as a diluent. It’s a considerable challenge, but if you’re serious about being a tec CCR diver, then this course is your next step.

TEC 100 CCR

Tec 100 CCR Diver is the ultimate PADI Tec CCR rating. This training is significantly more challenging than the Tec 60 CCR Diver course because it includes the use of diluents and bailout gases that are hypoxic. You’ll learn to plan and make dives with hypoxic trimix/heliox using a Type T (technical) CCR to a maximum depth of 100 metres/330 feet while managing multiple bailout cylinders and completing multiple decompression stops. Very few extreme adventurers earn this rating. Will you be one of them?

Advanced EANx Diver (OC, Rebreather)

This Program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge in the use of EANx for Sport diving.

Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver (OC, Rebreather)

This Program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge in the use of EANx for Sport diving. It further develops diving skills and

provides a greater understanding of the EANx concept of diving. It is also intended to supplement the skills of Recreational Trimix Divers.

The purpose of this program is to qualify divers to dive up to 170 fsw (51 msw) and perform decompression stops required dives up to 15 minutes

Tek Open Water Sidemount Diver (OC Only)

Familiarize the diver with advanced techniques, equipment and mindset required for Technical Sidemount diving.

Enable divers to proficiently assemble and use Technical Sidemount equipment configuration. Teach divers the proper techniques to safely conduct decompression dives that warrant the use of Sidemount equipment configuration.

Explore Technical Diving

This Program is designed to introduce the diver to the basic concepts of technical diving, and to provide

a practical confined water and OW exposure practicing various skills.

Expedition Trimix Diver (OC, Rebreather)

This program is designed to train OC or Rebreather Divers already involved in deep diving activities to more safely conduct exploration dives requiring extended decompression profiles and helium-based gas mixture.

Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver

This Program is designed to train competent divers in the safer use and technology of CCR for dives requiring up to 15 minutes of decompression.

Wreck Diver (OC, RSCR, RCCR)

This Program is designed to develop wreck diving skills within the limits of light penetration and to insure that divers are aware of self-responsibility and capable of risk management in overhead environments.

Introductory Cave Diver (OC, RSCR, RCCR)

his Program is designed to provide an introduction to the cave diving environment for Sport Divers.

Tek Lite Cave Diver (OC, RSCR, RCCR)

This Program is designed to train Advanced EANx Divers or higher to use his/her knowledge to safe cave diving and navigate in the cave main line.
